Effective Date: September 6, 2026 • Last Updated: September 2026
Smart Printer (also referred to as "PrinterB", "we", "us", or "our") is provided by LifePilot Labs.
This Privacy Policy explains how PrinterB accesses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the application.
We designed PrinterB primarily to process your documents and printing data locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information We Access and Process
Files, Photos, and Documents
PrinterB allows you to open, import, scan, edit, convert, preview, and print content such as:
- Photos and images
- PDF files
- Text files
- Supported document files
- Scanned documents
- Content shared to PrinterB from other applications
These files are accessed only when you select, open, share, or otherwise choose to process them with PrinterB.
PrinterB may create temporary or working copies of these files in the application's private storage or cache in order to provide editing, conversion, preview, print preparation, and recent-file functionality.
We do not upload your documents or images to our own servers.
When you choose to print, the content may be transmitted to the printer, Android printing service, or other destination that you select.
Contacts
PrinterB includes an optional feature that allows you to select and print information from your device contacts.
If you grant Contacts permission, PrinterB may access contact information including:
- Names
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Postal addresses
- Contact photos
- Organizations and job information
- Birthdays and other contact dates
- URLs
- Relationships
- Social profile information
This information is used only to display, select, format, and generate printable contact documents.
PrinterB does not upload your contacts to our servers, sell them, use them for advertising, or disclose them to third parties except when you explicitly choose to print or otherwise export the generated content.
You may revoke Contacts permission at any time through Android system settings.
Printer and Local Network Information
PrinterB uses your local network to discover and communicate with compatible printers.
The App may process information such as:
- Printer name
- Network address
- Printer capabilities
- Printer availability and status
- Other information advertised by the printer on your local network
This information is used to discover printers, establish connections, determine supported printing options, and perform print jobs.
PrinterB does not use local network discovery to determine your physical location.
Website Printing
PrinterB may allow you to open a website and convert its displayed content into a printable document.
Websites are loaded directly from their respective operators. Those websites may independently collect information such as your IP address, browser information, cookies, or other information according to their own privacy policies.
PrinterB does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.
The printable representation generated by PrinterB is processed locally on your device.
App and Device Information
Some third-party components used by PrinterB, including Google services, may automatically process limited technical information such as:
- Device model
- Operating system version
- Application package and version
- Device or installation identifiers
- Performance and diagnostic information
This information may be used by those service providers for security, diagnostics, compatibility, and service operation.
PrinterB does not currently use advertising SDKs to serve personalized advertising.

We do not use your documents, contacts, or print content for behavioral advertising.
3. Android Permissions
PrinterB may request or use the following permissions and system capabilities:
-
Contacts (
READ_CONTACTS): Used only when you choose the Contacts printing feature. -
Internet Access (
INTERNET): Used for features that require network connectivity, including loading websites, accessing services you explicitly choose to use, and communicating with network resources. -
Network State (
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE/ACCESS_WIFI_STATE): Used to determine network availability and support printer connectivity. -
Wi-Fi Multicast (
CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE): Used to discover compatible printers and services on the local network via mDNS / NSD.
PrinterB may also use Android system pickers and sharing mechanisms to access files you explicitly select without requesting broad access to your device storage.
4. Third-Party Services
PrinterB may use services or components provided by third parties, including:
- Google Play services
- Google ML Kit Document Scanner
- Google Play In-App Review
- Android System WebView
- Android system printing services
Google ML Kit may process technical device and application information for diagnostics and service operation. Document scanning content is processed on the device by the applicable ML Kit functionality.
Third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted or made available only in circumstances necessary to provide functionality, including:
- Printers: Documents and print data are transmitted to the printer or printing service selected by you when you initiate a print job.
- Third-Party Websites: When you open a website through PrinterB, your device communicates directly with that website.
- Platform and Service Providers: Limited technical information may be processed by providers such as Google as described above.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests. Because PrinterB currently does not operate a server that stores your documents or contacts, in most cases we do not possess this content and therefore cannot disclose it.
6. Local Storage, Retention, and Deletion
PrinterB stores certain application information locally on your device, which may include:
- Application preferences
- Printer information
- Recent-file metadata
- Working document copies
- Generated files
- Cached files
Temporary files may be removed automatically as part of normal application operation.
You can remove locally stored PrinterB data by using features provided in the App, clearing PrinterB's application data through Android settings, or uninstalling the App.
PrinterB does not maintain a cloud account containing your documents or contacts.
Android Backup
Depending on your Android device and backup settings, Android may back up certain PrinterB application data to a backup service associated with your device or account.
Such backup and restoration are controlled by the Android operating system and the applicable backup provider.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures and Android platform security mechanisms to protect information processed by PrinterB.
Files stored in PrinterB's private application storage are protected by Android's application sandbox.
However, no electronic storage or network transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
When printing to a network printer, the security of the connection may also depend on the printer, network configuration, and printing protocol supported by the device.
8. Children's Privacy
PrinterB is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
9. Your Choices
You may:
- Decline or revoke Contacts permission
- Choose which files and documents PrinterB can access
- Choose which printers receive your documents
- Delete locally stored data
- Clear application data through Android settings
- Uninstall PrinterB at any time
Disabling certain permissions may prevent the corresponding features from working.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PrinterB's functionality, technology, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
The updated policy will be published at the same location with a revised effective date.
Material changes may also be communicated through the App where appropriate.
